Chandler's Ford Street Pastors

Get Involved

Street Pastors

Street pastors are all volunteers from local churches who want to serve their local community.  There are four teams, with one team out on the streets of Chandler’s Ford for four hours every Friday night. So, street pastors go out with their team every four weeks.

All street pastors have to be trained before they are allowed to join one of the teams. The training covers a range of subjects such as listening skills, drugs and alcohol awareness, local policing and first aid. There are four Street Pastor groups in Eastleigh Borough and a joint training course was recently held with Southampton Street Pastors. The training course has just finished with the new street pastors being commissioned on 22nd November; this included 2 new street pastors who have joined our teams in Chandler’s Ford.

Prayer Pastors

Prayer is essential to our work as street pastors and we have a team of prayer pastors who pray at the base whilst we are out on patrol. There is no training necessary, just a heart to pray and serve. If you are interested and want to find out more please contact our coordinator.
